Terms and Conditions For Sellers

Welcome to Atollbids! We’re thrilled to have you on board as a seller. Before you start listing items for sale on our platform, please carefully read through the following Terms and Conditions. By listing an item on Atollbids, you agree to these terms.

1. Seller Responsibilities

As a seller on Atollbids, you are expected to:

  • Provide Accurate Listings: Ensure that all listings accurately describe the item, including its condition, features, and any defects.

  • Direct Shipping Responsibility: Atollbids will organise shipping together with the seller but it is sellers responsibility to deliver items in good condition to the buyer.

  • Maintain Communication: Keep Atollbids updated on any issues with items, deliveries, or any other concerns related to your listings.

2. Income and Commission Structure

When you sell an item on Atollbids, you will earn a portion of the final sale price, after deducting Atollbids’ commission and applicable fees.

  • Commission and Fees: A commission fee will be deducted from your total earnings after a successful sale. This fee is clearly visible in your seller dashboard before listing your items.

  • Income Payment: After Atollbids successfully completes the auction, processes the payment, and confirms the buyer’s payment, your earnings will be transferred to you after deducting the commission.

    • The seller’s income will only be paid after Atollbids confirms the completion of the ownership transfer and receipt of all necessary documentation (such as registration documents for cars, boats, etc.).

    • You will receive your payment once the buyer’s payment is successfully confirmed and ownership transfer documentation is provided and verified.

3. Ownership Transfer for High-Value Items (Cars, Boats, etc.)

For high-value items like cars, boats, or other significant assets, the following steps must be completed:

  • Seller Responsibilities: As a seller, you must submit the necessary ownership documentation (e.g., vehicle registration, title documents, etc.) to Atollbids.

  • Buyer Responsibilities: The buyer must complete the full payment process and confirm that the payment has been processed before you can transfer ownership.

  • Atollbids’ Role: Once the payment is successfully received, Atollbids will facilitate the ownership transfer, if needed by the seller, with an additional charge. However, seller also can do ownership transfer work but payment will be released once ownership is transfered and ownership documents are verified with the relavent authorities by Attol bids. The sale is only considered complete when the ownership transfer is legally finalized.

  • Income Transfer: Once the ownership documents have been confirmed and the buyer’s payment has been successfully processed, Atollbids will release the seller’s income from the auction.

4. Shipping and Delivery Process

  • Handled by Atollbids: Atollbids will manage the logistics and shipping for all auctioned items together with the seller. Seller have to provide shipping documents like Bill of lading, Airway bill, delivery notes and make sure items are delivered to buyer in good condition.

5. Prohibited Items

As a seller, you are prohibited from listing the following:

  • Illegal Items: Any item that violates local or international law.

  • Counterfeit Goods: Products that infringe intellectual property rights.

  • Hazardous Materials: Dangerous or hazardous items that may harm health or the environment.

  • Perishable Goods: Unless the category allows it, perishable goods may not be listed for auction.

  • Stolen Property: Any item that is stolen or illegally acquired.

Atollbids reserves the right to remove listings that violate these terms without prior notice and suspend or terminate the seller’s account if necessary.

6. Returns and Refunds

  • Return Policy: Sellers must clearly state whether the items are returnable. Atollbids will mediate any return and refund claims.

  • Damaged or Misrepresented Items: If the buyer receives a damaged or misrepresented item, the seller is responsible for issuing a refund, as per the platform’s return policies.

7. Account Suspension and Termination

  • Violation of Terms: If you violate any of Atollbids’ terms (e.g., misrepresentation, failure to provide ownership documentation, or failure to ship the item), your account may be suspended or terminated.

  • Fraud or Unethical Behavior: Sellers engaging in fraudulent activity or unethical conduct will face immediate suspension and potential legal action.

8. Dispute Resolution

  • Buyer-Seller Disputes: If a dispute arises between you and the buyer, Atollbids will provide mediation services to resolve the matter fairly.

  • Legal Jurisdiction: Any unresolved disputes will be handled in accordance with the laws of the Maldives.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Atollbids is not liable for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from the sale of items. Our role is to provide a platform for auctions, but the responsibility for the product lies with you, the seller. The seller should take cargo insurance cover to cover the losses and damages arising during transportation. Insurance premium should be paid by the seller until items are delivered.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Atollbids reserves the right to modify these Seller Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be reflected in this document, and the effective date will be updated accordingly.
